Firenze and tuscany. How to arrive?

Galileo Galilei airport is in Pisa and is the closest International airport to Firenze (Florence), approximately 60 miles away. From Pisa you can go to Florence by train, bus or rental car (the best option I think for knowing all the small towns of this wide region).

Stazione Santa Maria Novella is the main train station around Florence. It's located at most 15-minutes (average walking time) from the furthest major attractions in Florence. Florence is reachable by train from many major areas of Italy and is also reachable from the airport. You can even check your bags and get a boarding pass for the train from the airport. Trains leave the airport for Florence an average of twice per hour.

tuscany firenzeThe car rental in the Galileo Galilei airport in Pisa is very interesting. Then you can drive to Firenze(Florence), Siena, or other small town you want to visit.

The best is to look the mountain, the flowers, the vineyards...
